Powder Coating

Powder coating is a process that uses very small particles of pigment and resin and applies them to metal objects. A gun charges the particles, which are then attracted to the grounded parts. The parts then enter a curing oven, where the coating chemically reacts to heat, turning it into a smooth, uniform finish.

At Rockyford Powder Coating & Steel Fab we have a 26-foot oven and are the only local company that uses high-pressure steam in our wash system.

This is eco-friendly, eliminating the need for harsh detergents to clean material prior to powder coating. We are cost-competitive and can handle a wide range of small and large items in a timely fashion.
